Valknut, runes and knotwork
The Valknut — three interlocking triangles — is a symbol linked to Odin and fallen warriors, known from the picture stones of Gotland. Rune rings carry the meaning of the chosen rune, and knotwork echoes the decoration of Viking Age mounts and combs.
Inside the band I can engrave a name written in the futhark, a date or a short motto — a good idea for an engagement ring or a gift.
Frequently asked
How do I measure my ring size?
Wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it meets and measure the length in millimetres — that is the circumference. Give it in the order notes and I'll pick the size. Measure in the evening, when fingers are slightly larger.
What does the Valknut mean?
The Valknut (knot of the slain) is three interlocking triangles associated with Odin. It appears on runestones in scenes of death in battle and the journey to Valhalla.
Can a steel ring cause skin reactions?
Carbon steel and brass can leave a mark on some people's skin. If you have sensitive skin, choose 925 silver.
